Yealink VP530 Provides a Complete Enterprise VoIP Solution

By Rory Lidstone, TMCnet Contributing Writer

Yealink (News - Alert), a top provider of VoIP Phone and IP communications solutions, recently unveiled the latest addition to its VoIP video phone lineup, building upon the successful VP-2009P model in terms of specifications and features.

The VP530 boasts a complete feature set suitable for high-level administrative and enterprise use. Unlike the VP-2009P, the VP530 isn't limited to one-way video calling, instead offering three-way video conferencing, with all conversation participants viewable on the phone's seven-inch 800 x 480 digital LCD touch screen.

Other improvements the VP530 offers include an integrated total directory solution and support for up to four VoIP accounts, rather than two. The VP530 also sports such features as BLF and intercom capability as well as 18 one-touch soft DSS keys.

Otherwise, the VP530 is very similar to the VP-2009P, which is a good thing. Both feature the TI DaVinci dual-core chipset for speedy performance and a two megapixel CMOS camera, along with HD voice and full duplex. Both phones features support for H.264 and H.263 video codecs as well as JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP images types. Video is shot at 720 x 480 resolution at 30 frames per second.

Despite its advanced features, the VP530 is very easy to set up with an enterprise-grade, Web-based, intuitive configuration method that makes it easy to provision and maintain a large number of phones throughout an entire enterprise.

Yealink has been providing quality VoIP phones to the enterprise sector since 2001 in more than 80 countries around the world. Recently, the company announced that all of its IP phones have IPv6 support, making them all effectively future proof. This means that when all available IPv4 addresses, approximately 4.3 billion, are used up, Yealink's IP phones will remain unaffected as they are able to utilize the Pv6 next-generation Internet Protocol address standard.
