March is indeed a busy month for Grandstream, even with CeBIT (News - Alert) come and gone.
From the 22nd to the 25th the company will be exhibiting at Convergence (News - Alert) India, in New Delhi.
Held every year, Convergence India is a event for the South Asian ICT Industry.
Event organizers say it’s “future focused.” Convergence India 2010, they say, “constitutes various elements which universally attract stakeholders from across the industry, at all level of organizations and from all over the world for a truly global ICT platform.”
Convergence India official say it’s “the only showcase in South Asia to propagate the convergence of delivery systems as the preferred platform for vendors, operators, service providers and IT companies.”
This year the conference will have more than 100 speakers and over 12 sessions.
Grandstream will also participate in VoiceCon, a conference on enterprise communications unified communications, VoIP and video featuring the latest products and “helping you make the best investment decisions in this challenging environment.”
Dramatic changes are “reshaping our industry,” conference organizers said, adding that there are new players, new products, and new choices: “VoiceCon helps you understand what these changes mean for your network, your enterprise and your career.”
The VoiceCon Conference Program will address such issues as “Planning and Implementing IP Telephony and Converged Networks,” “Unified Communications (News - Alert),” “Managing Staff, Technology & Costs” and “Communications Applications and Application Development.”
Last month Grandstream Networks (News - Alert) announced that Technology Marketing Corporation’s INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine named the GXV3140 IP Multimedia Phone (News - Alert) and GXV3601 series IP cameras as recipients of its 2009 Product of the Year Award.
“Ideal for professional surveillance environments, the GXV3601 IP Camera is a powerful network camera that incorporates comprehensive peripheral support for alarm control, local storage expansion and wireless network connection,” TMCnet’s Marisa Torrieri reported. “Features include H.264 real-time video compression, plus SIP/VoIP capabilities for full-duplex, two-way audio and video streaming to mobile and video phones.”
The GXV3140 desktop IP multimedia phone, which was recently given to Dancing with The Stars finalists, Torrieri said, “comes with built-in IPVideoTalk offers for no additional monthly fee.”
