Company president, Brian Twomey, an eleven year veteran of TNCI (News - Alert), has continuously been honored for his work in overseeing the strategic direction, product management, technology development, sales relationships and other operations at the company.

 

Most recently, Twomey was nominated for the Phone (News - Alert)+ Channel Executive of the Year award, a recognition he was already familiar with.

 

In 2008, Twomey was selected as the first ever winner of this title.

 

Crediting the award to the work of the entire TNCI team and their partners, Twomey said, “I see 2008 and beyond as groundbreaking in terms of our growth and in the deepening of partner relationships, particularly with the members of the Agent Alliance.”

 

Twomey has been president of TNCI since 2000 and has 26 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to TNCI, Twomey held executive positions at AT&T, NYNEX (now Verizon), Sprint, McCaw Cellular (now Cingular (News - Alert)) and FaxNet.    

 

“I am honored to have been selected as the Channel Executive of the Year in 2008, and am greatly appreciative to again be nominated for the 2010 award,” Twomey said.

 

The winner will be selected from a pool of 31 nominees chosen by channel partners and representing a top person at the company’s operations.

 

Nominees are evaluated based on leadership roles in the business and community, the longevity of the nominee in developing the channel, new ideas and innovations the nominee has brought to the channel and any activities or contributions that have helped in promoting or advancing the channel.

 

Winners and runner-ups will be featured in an upcoming issue of the publication and recognized at a spring 2010 partner conference.
