Promero to Provide Cloud Based HIPAA Compliant Call Center Software Solution

Promero, a reseller and hosting provider of call center and CRM software, has announced that it will offer cloud based HIPAA Compliant Call Center software solution for healthcare providers and outsourcers that provide call center services to the healthcare industry.


HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), defines policies, procedures, and guidelines for maintaining the privacy and security of individually identifiable health information.

Officials with Promero said that the company’s hosted solution, using Oracle (News - Alert) Contact Center Anywhere, provides the necessary administrative, facility, and technical safeguards to assist healthcare organizations meet their HIPAA requirements.

"Our solution includes roles based access controls, encryption of data transmissions, as well as secure and encrypted storage of electronic protected health information for maximum security," said Gregg Troyanowski, president of Promero, in a statement.

According to company officials, Promero's dedicated staff will work to provide the most secure, safe environment for an organization's call center application that will meet or exceed HIPAA standards. 

Company officials said that Promero's call center solutions are hosted in a Peak10 data center that has been audited in accordance with SSAE 16 and ISAE 3402 Standards. 

Back in December, Promero had announced the release of its integrated solution for complex business processes for call center and customer service centers. Promero completed enhanced its cloud based call center software, Oracle Contact Center Anywhere with RiverStar's CE suite. 

The addition of RiverStar CE suite enables administrator to create simple-to-complex customer service, problem solving or sale processes in an easy to use graphical interface.

The solution is completely integrated with the call center solution's ACD, thereby providing the proper call routing of the customer's call to the right agent. 

Promero also offers its users the Salesforce CRM CTI (News - Alert) connector for Salesforce users. Salesforce users take advantage of advanced customer relationship management software integrated with a best in class call center software and business process application.
