Sennheiser Announces New Support Services for Dealers and End Users

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

In a bid to help customers make more informed wireless equipment purchases, Sennheiser has announced new RF consultation and support services.

These new offerings will provide the company’s dealers as well as end users with services like transmitter customization, spectrum sweep consultations and help desk capabilities.

"These services are intended to help guide customers through the challenging RF environment and ensure they can purchase wireless equipment with confidence," said Joe Ciaudelli, RF spokesperson for Sennheiser Electronic Corporation.

"These services added on to the Sennheiser 700 MHz Rebate program for virtually all Sennheiser wireless microphone purchases made between December 1, 2008 and December 1, 2009 clearly defines our leadership position in the helping users navigate the ever-changing RF marketplace. In fact, customers can even swap their old non-Sennheiser products for a new Sennheiser system."

To help customers get fast, timely information and technical support, Sennheiser is offering a free help desk function. Customers can call the Sennheiser Help Desk to have their questions answered as well as obtain a free wireless system evaluation, and more.

Another new offering provided by Sennheiser is the addition of a Performance Guarantee to their two-year warranty for Sennheiser RF component and system. The new guarantee ensures that a product which is not operating at 698 MHx will be replaced.

For those planning to make a new purchase beyond 16 channels, Sennheiser is also offering a large system consultation service where they will take the time to review venue blueprints, coordinate the frequency system for the location, factory test and setup of the offering before shipping, and more.

Earlier this year, the company announced an extended partnership deal between Sennheiser UK and audio solutions distributor, APart, to offer their sound reinforcement products in Ireland. The new deal extends Sennheiser's product offerings beyond the U.K., into Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic and will feature events to introduce Irish dealers to APart’s offerings.
