In a bid to deliver improved sound performance for audio professionals, headsets provider Sennheiser has unveiled latest HD 380 pro headphones.
The new headphones are targeted toward sound engineers, producers, musicians and other audio professionals who require the ability to clearly hear sound without any external noise interference.
"Professional headphones have to fulfill a wide range of requirements," said Ivan Kuan, product manager at Sennheiser.
"They have to provide excellent but accurate sound, effectively attenuating external noise and yet still remain comfortable even after hours of monitoring work."
To deliver the professional sound required by these users, the headphones reproduce audio signals at up to 110 dB, so even in very noisy environments, clear sound can be heard.
The headphones also include the company’s 'Eargonomic Acoustic Refinement' (E.A.R.) technology for proper channeling of sound.
Sennheiser also recently announced that CDW (News - Alert) Corporation was chosen as the company’s 2008 Dealer of the Year for their exemplary sales and customer support for Sennheiser's headsets.
As a winner, Sennheiser made a generous contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in CDW’s name.
