HearMe (News - Alert), a leading provider of web-based, desktop video conferencing and online collaboration solutions, recently announced an upgrade to its current offerings with the release of “HearMe Version 3.0”.
The latest version of HearMe includes the ability to present pre-recorded videos, an improved layout and user interface and enhanced audio quality, according to the company.
“For more than a year, we’ve been increasing the flexibility that HearMe offers to users, and this new version shows our commitment to continuing to do so at a cost-effective price point,” said Matt Gore, vice president of marketing for HearMe
HearMe Version 3.0 includes: Video Library which allows meeting presenters to upload and broadcast pre-recorded videos or movies to all room participants; Enhanced “Presentation Mode” and document sharing capabilities that allow a presenter to have more control and flexibility over the content; New, more intuitive menu interface and additional meeting room layout options.
“The additional audio and video features, as well as the enhanced interface, provide professionals a new level of interactivity with the people they need to be connected to. These increased capabilities also offer new opportunities to integrate with other technologies, such as CRM platforms, and continue to improve the way our users communicate with the world.”
The upgrades also include improved full-duplex audio mixing for superior sound quality, said Gore.
HearMe’s web-based video conferencing system empowers small businesses, distance educators and mobile work forces to conduct meetings in real time at an affordable price. The solution provides video/audio conferencing, desktop and application sharing, and online browser based meeting rooms. HearMe also offers a user-friendly interface and advanced video conferencing capabilities. It allows an unlimited number of users to actively participate in a meeting via voice, video and text chat.
