Portability has emerged as a necessity, not a luxury, for many businesspeople. Workers everywhere are sending, receiving, scheduling and meeting with fellow business professionals, whether they're sitting in front of a PC in an office or on a streetcorner hailing a taxi.
Staying in touch with colleagues and clients now is made far easier, with a new application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that was developed by RingCentral (News - Alert). By using RingCentral Mobile, a free application in Apple's virtual iTunes App store, RingCentral customers will have their RingCentral number displayed on a caller ID.
Other features with RingCentral’s (News - Alert) mobile application is the ability to add, edit and dial personal or business contacts and view and play voicemails. There's even an option to call back voicemails with visual voicemail and receive, send and view faxes online.
RingOut Mode allows users to take a call directly from their iPhone (News - Alert) or from another location that's been selected in advance from users of the service. RingOut is also used for making and receiving international calls.
RingCentral is a complete online business call management system. Get one toll-free or local number for either your home or office and have calls answered and sent to any extension by a professional auto-receptionist that will manage and forward all your business calls and faxes.
Voicemail and faxes are automatically downloaded to users’ iPhones and stored in a messages tab. Users can also forward a voicemail or fax message and access them in offline mode.
