ERP Software: NALPRO Business Solutions Signs Reseller Agreement with Pronto Software

NALPRO Business Solutions, a provider of software and services, has signed a reseller agreement with Pronto Software, a provider of ERP software.

Under the terms of the partnership, NALPRO will distribute the ERP software solutions from Pronto to its mid-market customers in the eastern part of the U.S.

Pronto Software already boasts of more than 1,500 customers in 27 countries. PRONTO-Xi, the next generation ERP solution, brings together a strong transactional engine and Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics in a unified, out-of-the-box solution.

Featuring the powerful IBM Cognos (News - Alert) 10 BI suite, PRONTO-Xi provides the tools for companies to become more efficient and improve cash flow as markets and businesses adapt to unpredictable circumstances.

NALPRO was looking for a partner that shared a sharp focus on driving business outcomes and strong Return on Investment for customers.

This partnership, according to NALPRO officials, helps them gain a larger foothold into the upper mid-market, in particular industries with manufacturing, distribution and services requirements.

"We were impressed with the breadth and depth of PRONTO-Xi's functionality across many industries,” said NALPRO President Nicholas Lordi, in a statement. “The tight integration with a world-class BI solution addresses key market needs including instant insight into business performance for faster, smarter decision making.”

The company was also impressed by Pronto's overall attitude toward the customer and NALPRO’s business growth. “We share a similar philosophy in terms of how to conduct business for the benefit of the customer while at the same time providing NALPRO with the tools for long term success,” Lordi added.

Pronto Software views this partnership as a continued development for Pronto Software's reseller base in the U.S. market to meet growing interest in PRONTO-Xi.

"Research shows that companies who maintain investment during downturns to become more efficient will extend their endurance if the recession persists, and outperform their competitors when conditions improve,” said Terry Leister, vice president for North America, in a statement. “And PRONTO-Xi provides the exact tools to help businesses maximize productivity and improve profitability.”

The partnership further supports Pronto’s continued expansion across the country. NALPRO brings to the program extensive operations in New Jersey and California, helping the company strengthen its presence in the U.S.’ commercial and industrial heartland.

Earlier in June, Pronto Software announced the launch of new PRONTO-Xi Dimensions, an innovative product that brings together ERP transactions and BI Analytics in a unified, out-of-the-box solution.
