NTT (News - Alert) Com’s Enterprise Cloud solution has gotten a bit of a makeover. Enterprise Cloud is touted as a full-layer virtual private cloud, and now with its latest enhancements, the solution will better be able to provide solutions to the challenges that the enterprise faces with ICT operations.

Using both traditional and cloud-native ICT, the enhanced Enterprise Cloud offers a total solution that also includes network connectivity, colocation services, and third-party cloud.

The advent of cloud computing has significantly impacted the development and use of enterprise applications. As the cloud computing market continues to evolve, it will impact business processes in ways that were previously impossible, potentially giving companies a competitive advantage over firms neglecting the cloud. The most significant benefits include business performance resourcing, rapid go-to-market, business agility, and cost reduction.

NTT Com’s enhancements include hosted private cloud for traditional ICT, hybrid cloud environment, and seamless connections between clout platforms. The Enterprise Cloud also includes Enterprise-class Multi-tenant Cloud for Cloud-Native ICT, and Cloud Management Platform (CMP) for full visibility and IT governance.

As the value concept of the cloud is evolving from a cost-saving mechanism into a growth instrument, more and more organizations are turning to the cloud in an attempt to redesign their core business processes.

The enhanced Enterprise Cloud is currently available in Japan, and will be rolled out in the U.K., Singapore, U.S., Australia, Hong Kong and Germany later this year.

NTT Com says it will continue to enhance Enterprise Cloud, with plans for SAP (News - Alert) HANA, virtual private PaaS and enhancements to cloud management capabilities.
