Pensacola, Florida-based DIDXchange (News - Alert), a registered and patented service of Super Technologies, Inc., provides Direct Inward Dialing or “DID” phone numbers to IP communications companies.
Recently, the company announced a partnership with The SIP School, an online certification site for SIP and LAN/WAN technologies for VoIP, in a bid to empower entrepreneurs, carriers and developer students with the education needed to support SMB startups and technology-related jobs.
Muneeb Iqbal, a DIDX director, said a new DIDX member had pointed to company toward The SIP School for its many benefits including SIP certification and the ability to stay up-to-date on all things SIP-related.
“We immediately visited the school online and found in-depth information on SIP messaging, SIP servers, security, firewalls, NAT, troubleshooting, trunking, ENUM, unified communications, and more,” Iqbal said.
With The SIP School, users have a flash-based training system that includes animated games, labs and quizzes to gain qualification and remain current with SIP related topics.
Also, the SIP School's SSCATM certification is endorsed by Mitel, Panasonic, Ingate, AudioCodes, Brekeke, DIDX, TIA (News - Alert), Bicsi, Digium, Telematrix and others.
Commenting on the new partnership with DIDX, Graham Francis, also known as “Mr. SIP” and CEO of The SIP School, said the current economic scenario is a match for their e-learning services.
“Our training program is in the perfect position to help these companies learn all about the most important protocol to hit telecoms for years and get qualified to prove to everyone that they know their SIP,” Francis said.
