Hostway Corporation, a global player in infrastructure and Web application hosting, will deliver "Kick-It", a campaign to support humanitarian organization Right to Play in developing countries through the sales of Windows Server.

Right to Play is an international humanitarian and development organization using the so-called transformative power of sport and play to build essential skills in children and thereby drive social change in communities affected by war, poverty and disease.

Officials with Hostway (News - Alert) said that when Windows Server 2008 is purchased with a dedicated server through the company, for a limited time, customers will receive the "Kick-It" special offer of double the RAM (News - Alert) and double the bandwidth.

While the world is watching the World Cup in South Africa this summer, one can give children the right to play. Microsoft Corp. and its hosting partner community are working together to support Right To Play's programs, which use the transformative power of sport and play to build essential life skills for children living in communities affected by war, poverty and disease. 

Company officials pointed out that when one purchases Windows Server 2008 through Hostway Corporation, Microsoft (News - Alert) will donate to Right To Play to support its programs in 23 countries around the world.

Brian Goldfarb, director of the developer platform group at Microsoft said that Microsoft is pleased to work with partners such as Hostway to help build awareness about Right To Play with the "Kick It" Windows Server promotion.

Goldfarb said that by building solutions on the Microsoft Web Platform and deploying onto Windows Server via the company's hosting partners, developers have a great power to change the world, both creatively and practically.

Koss said that each week, almost 700,000 children attend regular Right to Play programming and special sports events made possible by the contributions of companies such as Microsoft along with its hosting partners.
