As a middle-market private equity investment firm, Blackford Capital requires some serious software to manage its customer interactions, fundraising, deal flow, portfolio, and capital calls and distribution. Recently, the company selected Navatar Private Equity Cloud software, built on Salesforce.com (News - Alert), to manage its CRM operations.
Navatar’s cloud software will enable Blackford Capital to manage its fund lifecycles, track investor commitments, and identify potential investors for funds. As a solution that provides out-of-the-box functionality and workflows for private equity firms, Navatar (News - Alert) Private Equity runs entirely in the Salesforce.com’s cloud. Check out a demo of the software available here.
Ketan Khandkar, principal, Navatar Group, stated, "Private Equity firms can now start using a fully built solution for their CRM and operations for one small monthly fee - no capital expenditure, no implementation costs, free upgrades and zero maintenance costs."
The software also features a reporting engine that can be used by a non-technical staff to generate reports for a low monthly fee, according to company officials. The Navatar Group provides services to private equity firms which allow them to stop spending money on consulting as the Group manages implementation, account migration, training, and support.
Since all code and client data is stored on Salesforce.com’s servers, no other subscription or services is required by those customers of Navatar Private Equity.
