Apps Designed to Help Facilitate Communications Boost Customer Service Software

By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

Companies rejoice when finding new innovative ways in to increase productivity, efficiency, and maintain quality management.

For companies already using Salesforce, this fresh-faced app can help in the merging process of bringing campaign members into a new campaign, according to Jenna Baze, a Salesforce administrator. The Salesforce CRM helps to improve company productivity and offers managers insight into their teams’ activities. The average salesforce.com customer experiences a 38 percent increase in lead volume, a 28 percent increase in lead conversion rates, a 31 percent increase in sales productivity, a 21 percent increase in sales win rates, and a 26 percent increase in sales revenue, their website claims. The app is designed to simply create a brand new campaign from a preconceived set of members from various campaigns based on their status. An added bonus about this app is its completely free!

Another free app is the mass update contact address. This app is designed to copy the account’s billing address to select contacts within that account using a Visualforce interface. It allows users to enhance the quality of their data while keeping it clean; and instead of manually entering all contact records one at a time, you can update all the records with the click of a button. An even more advanced version titled pro allows you to specify which address you want to copy into your contacts.

Yet another free app is the Infowelders Account Lifetime Value which helps to improve the aesthetics of any account page’s layout. Using this app, you can visualize buying trends of each consumer, opportunity information on the account page, and break up data into yearly, monthly, or even daily segments.

For those companies located within the mapping industry, an app has been designed with you in mind. This app called the Revenue Map from Infowelders and again free, geographically displays information on a map of U.S. representing closed/won opportunities and pipeline totals. This app enables you to have a constant, quick reference to see which states are currently generating the most sales. A more extended version with more advanced features is also available for a fee.

An app designed to alert employees of an important message is the Riptide Pop Alerts. This app enables businesses to get pertinent information out immediately and allows users to save an original message that will be seen by everyone, every time the record is looked at.

The Field Trip app lets you quickly glance through all available fields of any objects, showing the percentage of fields that have already been populated.
