Veeva Systems has expanded partnership with Salesforce.com to accelerate the delivery of the Veeva CRM applications to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
Veeva uses Salesforce.com’s (News - Alert) enterprise cloud computing platform, Force.com, to strengthen its position in the Pharma CRM industry. The company notes that several industry heavy weights including three of the world's largest five pharmaceutical companies, are using Veeva CRM running on Force.com to power their commercial operations.
Both partners have teamed on offering integrated multi-channel CRM applications delivered via the cloud to the global pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Veeva claims that its Veeva CRM is the only Pharma CRM solution that combines complete functionality for specialty care, primary care, managed markets, and KOL management in a single application.
Boasting the ability to empower teams to integrate their strategies for optimum success, Veeva CRM is utilized by more than 50 biopharmaceutical companies all across the globe. The solution runs of several devices such as Apple (News - Alert) iPhone, Apple iPad, BlackBerry Smartphones, Windows Mobile, and Tablet PCs.
Veeva CRM offers a range of features including flexibility on the fly, easy system administration, high user adoption and behind the scenes upgrades.
Peter Gassner, CEO of Veeva Systems said that his company is now salesforce.com's premier Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner for sales force automation in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology segment.
Gassner expects this expanded partnership to further fuel the company’s success.
