Schneider Electric Picks Cloud9 Pipeline Accelerator Suite for CRM Solutions

Cloud9 Analytics has announced that Schneider Electric’s Energy Management and Solutions business unit has selected Cloud9 (News - Alert) Pipeline Accelerator Suite to provide sales analytics visibility to its sales managers.

Schneider Electric's Energy Management and Solutions business unit had deployed CRM to reduce system administration overhead and provide users with additional capabilities.

“In moving to (News - Alert) for the CRM requirements of the sales managers in our business units, it is critical to ensure that we deliver the same functionality as provided in our legacy CRM system while enjoying the flexibility and ease-of-use of SaaS (News - Alert) CRM,” said Shelley Galloway, CRM business specialist at Schneider Electric’s Energy Management and Solutions business unit.

Galloway said that while Salesforce provided a number of key reports, the company needed Cloud9 to easily replicate the analytics we had enjoyed via our previous solution. “Now our sales managers automatically receive these reports and the time Cloud9 saves in analytics administration enables us to focus on more strategic areas of the business.”

With the deployment of Cloud9, Schneider Electric's (News - Alert) Energy Management and Solutions business unit expects to provide sales managers with a unified performance management dashboard. This dashboard includes orders-to-date, shipments-to-date, weighted funnel (pipeline) and attainment versus quota, according to company officials.

Additionally, Cloud9 is also expected to provide sales managers with a similarly unified view of "Top 10" deals by geography, closing this month, closing next month, new and past due.

Swayne Hill (News - Alert), president and CEO at Cloud9 Analytics, said that to deliver the kind of analytic flexibility such as Schneider Electric's Energy Management and Solutions business unit requires to run its business more efficiently -- particularly in the SaaS environment --  there is need for data management automation and innovative data warehousing capabilities that Cloud9 offers.

“Our SaaS analytics platform not only enables organizations to store and analyze historical data to drive revenue, but is the underpinning of our new family of performance management applications for the front office,” Hill said.

This year in May, Cloud9 Analytics closed its Series C financing for $8 million. The company also defined the next generation of performance management solutions for the front office, focused on accelerating growth and automating day-to-day management processes for sales, marketing, service, support and others in the line of business.
