LexisNexis’ (News - Alert) customer relationship management tool (CRM) – called InterAction for Microsoft Outlook (IMO) – is now compatible with Outlook 2007, according to company statements.
The new version of the program still has the features of IMO while integrating with the frequently-used version of Outlook.
With the product, firms can increase their relationships with clients and develop additional business.
In addition, it lets users view and use CRM data from an individual Outlook 2010 app.
Users will find many benefits with the new version. It saves time when users place a mouse over a toolbar for finding contact info, mutual friends, view meetings, and looking through notes.
Searching is easier because users can speedily locate contact details about clients and prospects without having to leave an e-mail inbox.
The “Add Activities” option lets others in the law firm see firm-wide interactions with a contact.
The "Mutual Connections" option lets firm members see who knows or had dealings with a contact before from within Outlook.
LexisNexis InterAction lets professional service firms and other relationship-based organizations find information to uncover new opportunities, according to a report from TMCnet.
InterAction 6.0 also lets users strengthen relationships and have greater participation in CRM across a law firm without requiring users to employ and learn a new application, Brad Sidwell, vice president and general manager of LexisNexis, said last year, TMCnet adds.
In other recent news about LexisNexis, the company has introduced new mobile apps for its Time Matters and Firm Manager practice management solutions, according to TMCnet.
The Firm Manager mobile application is a mobile-optimized version of LexisNexis Firm Manager, the web-based practice management application designed for solo practitioners and firms of 1-5 attorneys. It is a secure SaaS (News - Alert) (Software as a Service) application that provides users a single “dashboard” view of cases, upcoming appointments, meetings and tasks, deadlines and e-mail messages, TMCnet said.
In addition, Time Matters Mobility is a secure, web-based, mobile service that is offered as part of version 11, the newest version of the Time Matters practice management software from LexisNexis. This application offers lawyers access to Time Matters features — such as time and expense tracking and contacts — using Internet-connected smartphones or other mobile devices, TMCnet said.
