Aethera Networks Selects NetSuite to Help Manage Growth

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Aethera Networks (News - Alert) has deployed NetSuite in an effort to scale and streamline global operations. This globally focused company delivering agile solutions for multi-service access, edge aggregation and wireless backhaul networks made this move as part of its international expansion strategy.

The integrated functionality of Aethera Networks’ NetSuite (News - Alert) implementation provides a framework for operational excellence, while enabling real-time reporting for customer service, finance and accounting, inventory control and international sales management.

With more than 120 customers worldwide, Aethera Networks’ multi-service networking platforms have more than 12 years of proven reliability backed by premium customer service.

The company has strengthened its comprehensive international solution portfolio with the introduction of the AEGIS-V network portfolio headed by the AEX-200 micro-footprint Multi-Service Switching and Provisioning Platform (micro-MSxP). With this introduction, Aethera Networks addresses the needs of service providers, cable MSOs and wireless operators transitioning from TDM to all-packet networks.

Aethera Networks selected NetSuite in order to ensure that the company’s responsive customer service, growing international sales team and lean operations would scale with Aethera Networks’ rapid expansion.

The real-time, multi-disciplinary reporting functionality of the application suite will be used to ensure that customers ranging from regional operators to international telecommunications providers continue to receive the same level of personalized service and product reliability Aethera Networks’ has delivered to date.

“Our AEGIS-V platform has accelerated the significance of Aethera Networks’ solutions in international markets, with flexible support for legacy TDM, next generation SDH / SONET, and MEF-certified Carrier Ethernet services for metro, access and backhaul networking applications,” explained Sami Yazdi (News - Alert), President and CEO of Aethera Networks, in a Monday statement.

“As we continue to focus on international growth, NetSuite will help ensure that we execute with operational excellence and keep our distributed sales and support teams in sync.”

“Aethera Networks fits a typical NetSuite customer profile – a fast-growing company that needs scalability and wants the convenience of logging in from anywhere and having their business operations integrated in one application,” said Jay O’Connor, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, NetSuite, Inc., in Monday’s statement.

“We’re excited Aethera Networks chose NetSuite and look forward to watching them grow and expand internationally, as they take their business to the next level.”

Aethera Networks is facing the same situation that every organization aims to achieve – how to properly manage growth. By taking a proactive approach and selecting NetSuite to effectively manage the process, Aethera Networks is taking the proper steps to ensure business continuity no matter how swift or broad the expansions. As a result, customers will continue to receive the service they expect and Aethera can protect their growth potential for the long-term.
