Communications Provider Tops 100 List for Service, Forward Thinking: Podcast

By Amy Tierney, TMCnet Web Editor

Officials at PowerNet Global an integrated communications provider, say know the keys to success to maintaining a good business: forward thinking and top notch service.

It’s that future-oriented mindset that has once again landed the Cincinnati, Ohio-based company on the Deloitte (News - Alert) Cincinnati USA 100 listing. The program recognizes greater Cincinnati's top privately-held businesses for “the tremendous economic and civic contribution they make to their community.”

The recognition marks the seventh consecutive year PowerNet Global (News - Alert) has earned the coveted distinction.

“PowerNet Global has been future oriented for a long time,” Matt Ziebro, the company’s vice president of enterprise sales, told TMCnet in a recent podcast. “Some businesses get kind of stuck in a rut that they have to deliver quarterly numbers. Consequently, it limits their ability from looking too far into the future.”

How does the $80 million company stand out in the crowd? Ziebro said it all comes down to service. Unlike some of its competitors, PNG, a company that offers voice solutions and a range of data services, has the scope to handle big business, but yet can tailor specific services to a customer’s individual needs, Ziebro said.

“The differentiation is [PNG is] small enough to take care of our customers but large to have the scale and buying power with our underlying providers to do that at a good cost,” he said.
