Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals Swiss Affiliate Implements Veeva Cloud CRM Solution

Veeva Systems, a provider of cloud CRM solutions for the global life sciences industry, has been selected by Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals Swiss Affiliate to help build strong, long-term customer relationships.

Sigma-Tau is using Veeva CRM, including iRep for the Apple (News - Alert) iPad, to build a more customer-centric organization.


Veeva CRM is the first fully integrated multichannel CRM solution that enables life sciences companies to improve customer-centricity, according to company officials.

The cloud CRM solution features multitenant cloud-based architecture, robust partner ecosystem and rapid innovation cycles making Veeva CRM the fastest-growing life sciences solution worldwide.

Sigma-Tau is replacing its old system with Veeva CRM. As a result, the company has gained the flexibility it needed to keep up with its steady growth and the rapidly changing Swiss pharmaceutical marketplace.

The cloud CRM solution allows Sigma-Tau reps to target customers more effectively. It gains greater visibility to the preferences of customers it is targeting and helps the company deliver relevant information to maximize restricted face time with customers.

"From the initial presentation, it was clear that Veeva CRM offered everything we needed in a CRM solution," said Roland Brun, Sigma-Tau's general manager, in a statement. "The company's agility, as well as its customer-centric approach and focus on Sigma-Tau's success, were also key factors in our decision."

By delivering 360-degree visibility, Veeva CRM ensures that managers, too, can react more quickly if reps are not on track.

As part of its strategy to align sales and marketing strategies and execution, the pharma company also selected iRep, the first integrated CRM and closed loop marketing (CLM) solution specifically designed for the Apple iPad.

The solution will allow Sigma-Tau's reps to quickly track customer interactions, allowing for a better understanding of which messages and marketing materials resonate best, to whom and when.

"With iRep, we can close the loop in marketing to ensure content is compelling and relevant, and also react quickly to messages that are not working well," Brun said. "We will have a better sense of what our customers’ need, which will help grow our business relationships…and our business."
