Mitel has enhanced communications between the Alaska-based Residential Mortgage head office in Anchorage and its geographically dispersed employees across the state.
Partnering with Foundry Networks Inc and TekMate, Mitel (News - Alert) has implemented its Teleworker Solution to improve business efficiencies for better customer service.
With Foundry’s IronView Network Manager, Residential Mortgage gets full visibility of all traffic flow types and the tools to manage and configure the Foundry line of wired and wireless network equipment to maximize bandwidth utilization and network performance. Foundry’s INM delivers scalable security and threat mitigation, without requiring cost or performance degradation of additional security sensors.
“Residential Mortgage has seven offices across the state, and it’s important that all the players are on the same page even if they are hundreds of miles apart from each other,” said Residential Mortgage IT director Clinton Jones in a press release.
Jones continued: “That’s why Mitel’s Teleworker Solution made so much sense. Employees can now communicate through simple four-digit extensions regardless of their location, whereas previously they had to dial ten-digit phone numbers.”
