Reitar and Smart Pointer Logistics Form Joint VentureFive-Year Collaboration Represents an HONG KONG, Aug. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Reitar Logtech Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: RITR) ("Reitar" or the "Company") today announced the formation of a joint venture with Smart Pointer Logistics Warehouse Limited (“Smart Pointer”), a Hong Kong-based provider of cold-chain logistics services. The joint venture, Smart Pointer Logistics Technology Limited, will focus on developing cold-chain warehousing and fulfillment, digital fulfillment, and value-added supply chain services. The joint venture builds on an established long-term commercial relationship and mutual trust between the parties. Smart Pointer has utilized Reitar’s cold-storage infrastructure and adopted its Warehouse-as-a-Service (“WaaS”) model to support warehouse management system upgrades, workflow optimization, and the development of automated services. The parties have entered into a five-year service arrangement with an estimated total contract value of approximately HK$120 million, reflecting market recognition of Reitar’s cold-chain infrastructure and logistics technology capabilities. Building on this collaboration, the parties have elected to deepen their strategic relationship through the joint venture. Smart Pointer Logistics Technology Limited will combine Reitar’s capabilities in cold-chain infrastructure, WaaS, logistics technology, and digital platforms with Smart Pointer’s operating experience in cold-chain warehousing, cargo handling, and order fulfillment. The joint venture will develop an integrated supply chain service platform encompassing warehouse management, temperature-controlled handling, inventory visibility, order fulfillment, value-added processing, and delivery coordination. The collaboration extends Reitar’s cold-chain and digital-service capabilities into higher-value supply chain operations and establishes a scalable, replicable foundation for growth in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and cross-border markets. Integrating Technology and Cold-Chain Infrastructure to Enhance Customer Fulfillment Capabilities Today’s logistics challenges extend beyond the movement of goods. Businesses must balance multi-channel sales, speed of delivery, quality control, and cost management. This is particularly important for customers in the food and beverage, foodservice, retail, and e-commerce sectors, which increasingly require reliable temperature monitoring, product traceability, flexible order picking, and real-time inventory visibility. Reitar will leverage its technology and platform capabilities to support the joint venture in developing data-integrated supply chain workflows covering order management, inventory information, fulfillment tracking, and operational analytics. Smart Pointer will contribute operational expertise in cold-chain warehousing, inbound and outbound cargo handling, picking, packing, and delivery coordination. Together, the parties expect to provide customers with more integrated, transparent, and flexible supply chain support, reducing the need to manage multiple service providers while helping improve shipment acuracy, inventory efficiency, and the end-customer experience. Hong Kong as a Gateway to Greater Bay Area Supply Chain Demand Smart Pointer’s logistics center in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong supports the handling of products with demanding quality, temperature-control, and time-sensitive operational requirements, including food, beverages, frozen products, and chilled products. Hong Kong’s position as an international trade and logistics hub provides a strategic gateway connecting local consumption markets, import and export cargo flows, and business networks throughout the Greater Bay Area. As retail and consumer models evolve toward smaller order sizes, higher fulfillment frequency, and faster response times, supply chain competitiveness increasingly depends on inventory transparency, fulfillment reliability, temperature-control quality, and service flexibility—not solely transportation costs. The joint venture intends to develop modular service offerings that can be tailored to the needs of brands, platforms, and merchants of different sizes. Advancing Digitalization and Scalable Operations Reitar intends to use the joint venture as a platform for building data-driven intelligent supply chain capabilities. The Company plans to integrate and enhance warehouse management systems (“WMS”), transportation management systems (“TMS”), and order management systems (“OMS”), while progressively connecting, as business needs evolve, with customers’ enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) systems, e-commerce platforms, sales channels, and delivery-partner systems. Through the coordinated operation of WMS, TMS, and OMS, the joint venture is expected to connect key workflows from order intake and inventory allocation to inbound and outbound warehouse operations, picking and packing, transportation dispatch, and proof-of-delivery tracking. These initiatives are expected to enhance real-time visibility, traceability, and operational control across the supply chain. As the business grows and customer requirements evolve, Reitar intends to continue improving system architecture, operating standards, and data-analytics capabilities. The Company believes that the integration of technology with physical logistics infrastructure will strengthen the joint venture’s operating efficiency, service flexibility, and long-term competitiveness, supporting a scalable operating model across additional warehouses, delivery networks, product categories, and Greater Bay Area markets.
