Pigott Tapped by LiveVox for VP of Product Management

Officials of LiveVox (News - Alert), which sells cloud contact center products, say [http://www.sys-con.com/node/1781357] the company has appointed Chris Pigott as Vice President of Product Management.


They’re certainly getting experience -- Pigott has over 20 years experience with contact center hardware and software, and will lead LiveVox product management groups, including aligning client specifications with the product development road map.

Announcing the hire, Louis Summe (News - Alert), Chief Executive Officer, LiveVox, remarked that “contact centers are poised to take advantage of telecom and networking trends that improve security, scale and cost efficiency without carrier or IP/PBX provision or custom integration.”

Before LiveVox, Pigott worked in a similar capacity at a few places, including Genesys Telecommunications, a call center infrastructure provider acquired by Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert), and served in executive roles at MCI Telecommunications. LiveVox uses Secure VoIP/MPLS networks to integrate contact center apps such as predictive dialer, IVR and call recording.

He’s also led worldwide feature implementation, training and support for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 clients in industries such as telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, technology and outsourcing.

Also this week, TMC (News - Alert) had the news that Xactly Corporation, which sells on-demand sales performance management, announced that LiveVox selected Xactly Express to automate the management and payment of sales commissions.

Xactly (News - Alert) Express lets people with little to no compensation administration experience create sales commission plans, calculate commissions, and export payments to payroll, all from a single tool.

With contact centers increasingly using the cloud, LiveVox has kept pace. The company has rather quickly grown in both revenue and headcount in recent years, and found their current spreadsheet-based processes were becoming cumbersome and error-prone. So, LiveVox officials say, they selected Xactly Express to “automate the management and payment of sales commissions and provide better insight into sales results.”
