ISI Telemanagement Solutions Hosts CDW UC Fun Run to Help Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Corporate philanthropy has a long history in the United States and elsewhere, and is a means for achieving progress in solving societal challenges while driving business performance.
Finding innovative ways to fulfill unmet needs in the community while leading the way toward better alignment of business and societal strategies has inspired many leaders over the years.
Plus, it’s a well-known fact in the business community that participates in community fund-raising events gives employees an outlet for channeling their creative energies. Oftenthey demonstrate increased productivity afterward, riding on the positive energy from their participation.
In short, when businesses and their employees get together with a commitment to make a positive difference in the community, great things can happen.
CDW’s (News - Alert) Annual UC Fun Drive 5K Run/Walk, now in its 26th year, is a great example of just that. The 5K is part of a month-long grassroots campaign held each July to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Full-service telecom solutions company ISI Telemanagement Solutions (News - Alert) is once again sponsoring the event, as it has in past years.
The event takes place July 27, 2014, in Vernon Hills, Illinois, with race starting at 8:30am at CDW’s headquarters.
This year, CDW’s goal is to raise $500,000, and has many activities planned, including the 5K.
Over the years, the Fun Run partnership between CDW and ISI Telemanagement Solutions has raised almost $4 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, founded in 1983, has a mission to save kids’ lives by increasing funds and awareness for local children’s hospitals. Since its inception, the organization has raised more than $5 billion for 170 children’s hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.
ISI’s participation in this event is in keeping with its corporate mission to deliver outstanding customer service and recognize the people who make that happen. It’s proof that ISI’s positive influence reaches behind the core business of call accounting solutions.
