As companies in the telecom expense management space look forward to what is on the horizon in 2012, they are simultaneously taking a closer look at their own offerings and how to improve them for increased customer satisfaction.
One such company is ISI (News - Alert) Telemanagement Solutions, Inc. – a provider of call accounting and real-time wireline and wireless management solutions for businesses looking to streamline their reporting and accounting processes while reducing their cost. The company’s flagship product, Infortel® Select, recently received an impressive upgrade with the release of version 9.0, making improvements upon speed, navigation, and reporting features.
I reached out to Mark McNeill, ISI’s Vice President of Strategic Marketing Solutions, to get more of an idea about how the 9.0 version improves upon the already-established qualities of the Infortel® Select solution. He stated, “With the release of Infortel® Select 9.0, ISI takes another leap forward in management and reporting for Unified Communications (News - Alert) networks. As customers expand the communications options they make available to their employees, ISI has developed market-leading technology within Infortel® Select to enable monitoring and reporting of not just voice calls from the office, but also for wireless calls in real-time, soft phones, Video Calls, Conference Calls and Instant Messaging.”
The redesign of Infortel® Select includes upgrades to the Directory database to help users work more quickly and efficiently by organizing levels of communication and including advanced searching techniques.
“Infortel® Select 9.0 can even track and report on File Transfers made across networks, like Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync Server,” McNeill continued. Lync provides the communications details while Infortel® Select analyzes Lync’s CDR data and extends business performance.
McNeill concluded, “All of this knowledge gives our customers the ability to determine how these new technologies are being utilized, where additional investments may be needed and, where potential savings can be found.”
