Kitchen Brains Announces Release of Cloud-Based SCK Food Safety Manager

By Deepika Mala, TMCnet Contributor

Kitchen Brains is a major player in the development and deployment of integrated, end-to-end, wireless M2M networking solutions and SaaS (News - Alert) applications for the commercial kitchen.

Recently, the company expanded its growing family of solutions for foodservice operators, by introducing its new cloud-based application, called the SCK Food Safety Manager.

The SCK Food Safety Manager aggregates data from a vast array of static and handheld sensors along with data collection devices.

Officials said that by doing this, the FSM ensures and enables Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) compliance—which is a food safety system that is internationally recognized for ensuring that food that is manufactured is safe.

"FSM is the simplest remote monitoring solution on the market for HACCP compliance," said Reza Khani, Kitchen Brains COO, in a press statement. With FSM, you can wirelessly sense, collect, and record critical data points from both static wireless sensors and portable hand held devices related to your business 24/7, securely stored in the cloud.”

By providing accurate, detailed data, the Food Safety Manager saves both labor and paper. Also, when a reading is out of range, alerts can be immediately sent to any device.

Company officials noted that FSM is integrated into the Kitchen Brains cloud-based dashboard in conjunction with other released Kitchen Brains Genius (News - Alert) Suite Applications, including SCK Quality Production Manager and SCK Set Point Manager. As a result, users get a single interface from which they can manage all their operations in an easy manner.

All the Kitchen Brains solutions are interoperable with leading POS and BOH systems along with top appliance platforms such as Xwire, the newly introduced Xwire Pro, Zigbee Pro, Ethernet, WiFi (News - Alert), Zwave, Bluetooth, and LonMark interfaces.

Furthermore, these solutions help reduce operating costs and increase sales for retail and OEM providers like Manitowoc Foodservice Group, Middleby Corporation, Burger King, Popeyes, McDonald's and other well-known food service establishments around the world.
