The proliferation of data created in today's businesses can create challenging document and overall information management practices that are often inefficient and cause employees to waste valuable time searching for documents or information they know exist but cannot find. The solution is designed to give employees the ability to capture, archive, retrieve, edit and process documents quickly and efficiently.

Canon is providing Therefore in several editions to address the needs of different sized businesses and IT environments. These include: Therefore Personal - for individual users, Therefore Workgroup - for small companies or departments, Therefore Essentials - for small to medium companies, and Therefore Enterprise - for medium and large organizations with multiple document workflows.

These editions are all server-based solutions with different user and paper-capture license options. Additionally, company is also lining up the launch of Therefore Online, which is a cloud-based solution that can offer much of the functionality of the Therefore Enterprise edition, but as a subscription-based model for organizations that don't want to support an on-premise server.

In addition, the solution integrates with many different applications, programs, and solutions, including Canon's uniFLOW, Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, SAP (News - Alert) NetWeaver and many third-party scanning solutions. The solution can be implemented as part of a comprehensive end-to-end information management and workflow solution.

The solution is now available across the United States through Canon authorized dealers. Prices are set by individual dealers and may vary depending upon version purchased.

Canon U.S.A has also released Océ PRISMAprepare 6.1, the Company's latest generation of all-in-one document preparation software.
