Munich-based unified communications specialist, ANDTEK GmbH, has entered into an agreement with value added distributor, "CCMENA" Dubai, according to a report in AMEinfo.com.

CCMENA will now represent ANDTEK in the Middle East and North Africa, in a pact to help ANDTEK significantly strengthen its presence in the this region of the world.

According to the report, the cooperation agreement between ANDTEK and CCMENA encompasses the entire product range of ANDTEK. This includes the "Contact Center," highly scalable call distribution software with central administration of the entire customer service, including the monitoring of agents as well as detailed statistics on calls (accepted/lost/ignored).

"We are happy to partner with one of the leading UC solutions provider" said Ashraf A. Elyan, managing director of CCMENA, in a statement.

Elyan said entering into a distribution agreement with ANDTEK positions CCMENA as a solution provider for governmental, financial, healthcare, hospitality, real estate and education institutions all over the Middle East and North Africa.

“With ANDTEK's value-added applications in combination with customizable services now we will create solutions fitting our clients' environment," he added."With our partnership with CCMENA, we expect an even stronger presence of our IP communication solutions and the optimum support of customers in this region with first-class unified communications services," said Roland Russwurm, managing director, ANDTEK."CCMENA is a special partner for us, because we can make use of the many years of experience and first-class customer relationships for joint development of the market," said Russwurm."Both sides' benefits are obvious," said Ashraf A. Elyan, "and mutual support will become the result of enabling of many successful projects in our region and best customer satisfaction as well," concluded CCMENA’s managing director.

Back in December, ANDTEK GmbH developed a tool that can be used to directly integrate data from MS Exchange directly into a Cisco (News - Alert) Communications Manager environment, allowing Exchange users to continue using their existing data in the ANDTEK Unified Communications network without reentering or manually synchronizing it.

E-mails, contacts and addresses can be managed, and dates agreed upon, via IP telephone or PC. Switchboard operators have quick access to notices, tasks and documents, optimizing their work.
