In a bid to provide its VoIP service provider customers with the ability to offer prepaid billing and authentication capabilities, VoIP Logic recently teamed up with IVR Technologies to integrate the company’s Talking SIP system with its own Cortex System Management portal.

 

As a result of several successful integration trials, VoIP Logic has now included the new system as part of its portfolio of offerings.

 

As per the partnership, VoIP Logic’s Cortex System Management portal, which offers VoIP carriers a way to better manage services through the use of a unified service creation environment and net provisioning tool, was integrated with IVR Technologies' Talking SIP solution.

Sher continued: “By utilizing their development resources, VoIP Logic has integrated the management of Talking SIP into their Cortex middleware application and in so doing have exemplified the possibility of Web 2.0.”

 

IVR Technologies’ SIP-based software integrates real-time billing, media server and an application server all into one system—making it possible to have real-time authentication of VoIP call sessions.

 

Combining these features with VoIP Logic's Cortex offering, it is possible for their customers to use real-time information to better manage and offer prepaid services for VoIP in various environments including consumer, retail, enterprise and wholesale. It is also possible for them to offer a prepaid environment for SIP trunking, unified messaging and hosted PBX.
