Today, at the MetaSwitch (News - Alert) Forum 2009 event, CTI Group Inc., a provider of eBilling, VoIP and mobile telephony applications, announced the launch of version 2.0 of its SmartRecord IP solution.  The latest version includes a new user interface, more feature functionality and better usability.

 

MetaSwitch Partner Certified since July 2008, the SmartRecord IP offering is fully hosted and offers valuable call recording features for customers without the need for heavy investment in hardware or software.

 

Version 2.0 of SmartRecord IP is noted to be a more complete communications management solution and includes dashboards, reports and alerts to help managers better, and more easily monitor departmental telecommunications usage. In addition, new next generation enhancements like the ability to integrate call management and customer support systems are included with the latest release. 

 

As an example of the added functionality, CTI Group (News - Alert) notes that, “If a 911 call is made, the administrator is alerted and is able to track that call back to its destination to verify their validity for the police so they know where to go in the building.”

 

MetaSwitch is a provider of advanced carrier services for both packet and circuit-switched networks. For its users, interoperability with CTI's SmartRecord IP offering makes it even easier to add the application and distinguish itself among the competition.
