Technology Marketing Corporation has announced that RadiSys’ (News - Alert) ATCA 4.0 platform is a winner of the 2009 Product of the Year Award, selected by INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.

 

Recipients of the 12th Annual Product of the Year Awards represent the most innovative new products. Editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY selected the companies that have demonstrated the vision, leadership, and thoroughness associated with the Product of the Year Award.

 

The Hillsboro, Ore.-based company launched ATCA 4.0 – the company’s fourth generation of AdvancedTCA (News - Alert) products – in October, to support the next generation of high bandwidth applications. As telecom equipment manufacturers focus on building out 4G and broadband, RadiSys’ ATCA 4.0 platform provides the next-generation switching, power and cooling its equipment manufacturing customers require.

ATCA 4.0’s “fully integrated” platform reportedly features the latest technology in the industry, incorporating a 10GBASE-KR and 40GBASE-KR4 capable backplane.
