Advanced embedded solutions provider RadiSys (News - Alert) is scheduled to present at the 11th Annual Needham Growth Stock Conference to be held on January 6-8, 2008 at The New York Palace Hotel in New York, NY.

 

The Oregon-based RadiSys, a major provider of advanced embedded solutions for the communications networking and commercial systems markets for OEMs, systems integrators, and solution providers, will present an overview of the company’s business and strategy on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. ET.

In recent years RadiSys has garnered industry accolades for its AdvancedTCA (News - Alert)  (ATCA) form factor computing platforms used in network applications. Earlier this year, a study from research firm IDC noted that Network Equipment Provider megamergers would continue to drive growth for ATCA.

 

In fact, many telecom equipment vendors and systems integrators have turned to products made using ATCA/ The technology is the successor to CompactPCI (News - Alert) form factor, and is used for the creation of communications system components that can be reused for a variety of applications.

 

While known for its powerful ATCA form factor computing platforms used in demanding network applications, particularly their Promentum product line, RadiSys recently added to the Promentum product family with two new offerings for service providers, the Promentum SYS (News - Alert) 6016, for high density applications and the Promentum SYS-6002, for lower-density subscriber areas.
