Calabrio (News - Alert), a provider of contact center agent performance optimization software, announced that Calabrio Call Recording and Calabrio Quality Management products now support Cisco (News - Alert) MediaSense version 8.5.3.
Cisco MediaSense is an open-standards based, network-based recording platform that offers multimedia recording options for the enterprise. By integrating with Cisco MediaSense platform, Calabrio products are able to increase the ease-of-use and reliability of archiving, retrieving and evaluating customer calls.

Calabrio Call Recording and Calabrio Quality Management applications are integral part of Calabrio’s suite of agent performance applications. Calabrio ONE, the company claims, is its first workforce optimization suite that draws on proven techniques of the social Web to deliver agent performance optimization tools that are intuitive, flexible, and simple to support.
Paired with Calabrio applications, Cisco MediaSense customers will more effectively drive value with business functions important to the contact center and the broader enterprise. They include compliance review, quality management, legal discovery, training, and analytics.
Calabrio is also the OEM provider of Cisco Unified Workforce Optimization for Cisco Unified Contact Center Express. Calabrio Call Recording and Calabrio Quality Management versions 8.7, which support Cisco MediaSense 8.5.3, are available to Cisco customers through Calabrio's network of more than 35 Cisco-certified partners.
In a related announcement from the industry, iCall (News - Alert) announced the launch of iCall 7 Beta, which improves the user experience by bringing HD video calling, messaging and collaboration to life. While also enabling users to directly interact with multiple messaging protocols, such as Facebook (News - Alert) Chat, Google Talk, and Yahoo! Messenger, the solution integrates its own SMS, voice and video functionality.
