Iristel, a global provider of VoIP services based in Toronto, Canada, has introduced a new Agent program, which allows individuals to act as independent sellers of the company's products and services. The program is aimed at anyone with an interest in the VoIP industry with a "sincere desire to help businesses and friends," while benefits include earning extra income while taking advantage of the growing VoIP industry.
All that is required of an Iristel Agent is to refer clients to the company. As such, those already in the telecom business, either as a seller of hardware or installation/technical support employee, already have the connections necessary to become a successful agent.
Furthermore, earning extra income is as easy as following up a hardware sale or installation with offering customers value-added IP voice services.
Once a customer's account is set up under an agent's name, that agent is not required to offer any support to that customer — in fact, all subsequent issues or questions will be handled directly by Iristel, including scheduling, technical support, billing and account information.
Additional benefits of the Iristel Agent program include: training offered by Iristel on current products and services, advanced notification of upcoming promotional campaigns, and access to a broad range of offerings, from basic residential phone lines to virtual fax, Internet and complex hosted PBX (News - Alert) systems.
After contacting Iristel and filling out a copy of the Agent Agreement, the process of becoming an agent is really as simple as directing customers to Iristel. The customer can either call Iristel directly and mention his or her name, or call him/herself to ensure all information is properly communicated.
Once the customer is signed up, they’ll begin to accrue a negotiated commission, representing a percentage of their fixed monthly services, for the duration of each contract.
More information on the Agent program can be found here.
Iristel boasts nationwide coverage in Canada, and in fact recently began expanding communication offerings in the Northwest Territories with Ice Wireless in the form of 2.5G data in Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Inuvik, Aklavik, Behchoko and Hay River.
