911 Enable, a provider of 911 services solutions for IP telephony systems, has revealed that its Emergency Routing Service (ERS) is now interoperable and available with Epygi Technologies’ IP PBXs.
According to 911 Enable, the Emergency Routing Service (ERS) is a monthly subscription service that provides organizations with E911 connectivity to public safety answering points across the U.S. and Canada. With the Epygi IP PBX (News - Alert) solution, a SIP or PSTN connection routes 911 calls and then delivers the calls and accurate caller location information to the appropriate answer points.
Some of the notable features of the Emergency Routing Service include: E911 support for the main office, branch offices and remote employees; compliance with state and local E911 specifications; easy, cost-effective installation and management; and more.
Epygi (News - Alert) claimed that its IP PBXs are capable of fitting into users’ budgets and enable small businesses to appear bigger, faster and more sophisticated. Everyday calls can be placed on IP phones, which offer cost savings, and easily configurable VoIP features and systems.
According to Mario Cuello (News - Alert), CEO of Epygi Technologies, the company sets out to collaborate with companies that will complement its “security and safety features innate to our product lines. 911 Enable (News - Alert) has been certified with their IP PBXs, thus the combined solution is excellent for small enterprise customers and verticals such as healthcare and education.”
“Providing users with E911 support is a critical issue facing organizations using IP telephony,” said Lev Deich, director of 911 Enable. “ERS allows organizations using Epygi to easily and cost-effectively implement critical E911 support for their deployments, and reflects our ongoing commitment to provide resilient and reliable E911 solutions for all vendors.”
