net2phone Announces HIPAA Compliance Program

By Maurice Nagle August 31, 2021

For healthcare providers, compliance is critical. A key piece of patient care is keeping data safe, and that means meeting the demands of HIPAA.

Net2phone announced the launch of a HIPAA compliance program for a number of net2phone (News - Alert) communications and collaboration solutions.

“Our cloud-based platform is now accessible to healthcare providers whose operations necessitate compliance with HIPAA,” said Jonah Fink, President of net2phone. “The privacy of our customers’ (and their customers’) data has always been a top priority. Our healthcare customers can now use our HIPAA-eligible services knowing that net2phone has a program in place designed to meet the demanding standards for safeguarding protected health information.”

At this time, net2phone’s Hosted PBX (News - Alert) includes HIPAA-ready voicemail transcription, voicemail and call recording.  In addition, perks of net2phone’s secure cloud platform include unlimited domestic calling; unlimited international calling to 40 destinations; iOS and Android (News - Alert) apps; popular integrations; customer API integrations; and auto-attendants, advanced call routing, VM to email, web-based calling as well as live chat.

The cloud-based solution is saving businesses more than 60% on business phone systems costs, available for a low, flat monthly rate per user.

The emergence of the cloud is undeniable, as it continues to provide the reliable, secure and feature rich experiences demanded by healthcare providers.
