Businesses today have to work more intelligently than ever before to outshine the competition. With innovation and technology at the forefront, it’s critical to have all of the pieces working together.

Orion Innovation (Orion) is a company that is focused on leadership in digital transformations and offers product development services that help businesses get recognized.

As part of its latest partnership news, the company announced a new multi-year agreement with Ribbon Communications (News - Alert) and American Virtual Cloud Technologies to provide cloud communications services and expand its R&D centers.

Specifically, the company will establish a new location in Istanbul with 400+ R&D engineers. The company’s Digital Product Development Division also added a new R&D center in Romania recently.

"I am excited to welcome a team of 400 highly skilled engineers with deep ICT domain expertise acquired through decades of collaboration with top tier telecommunications vendors," said Alex Bogachek, CEO of Orion's Digital Product Development Division.

"This R&D site in Turkey greatly expands our delivery capabilities, and along with our other sites in Russia, Romania, Serbia, and Lithuania, will continue to build cutting edge solutions for our clients in Europe and the US," said Bogachek.

Ribbon Communications provides real-time communications software and IP optical transport solutions for service providers, enterprises, and critical infrastructure sectors.

The CPaaS offering makes it possible to boost worker productivity by weaving real-time contextual communications directly into applications and business processes both on mobile and on the web.

Today’s announcement also includes a deal to provide software engineering American Virtual Cloud Technologies Inc. for its KANDY cloud communications services which are specifically focused on driving customer engagement levels and helping businesses to gain a competitive edge.

"We are very pleased to forge these long-term strategic relationships with new telecommunications clients and include them in our growing list of blue-chip clients. Our mission is to drive business innovation rooted in engineering and design thinking with the deep domain expertise to serve our clients. Expanding our specialized telecommunications team in Europe aligns perfectly with our business objectives," said Raj Patil, CEO of Orion.

Earlier this month, Ribbon Communications also announced working with Twilio (News - Alert) to advance "elastically scalable SIP Trunking" using their Enterprise Session Border Controllers (eSBC) to deliver Direct Routing to Microsoft Teams' customers.
