Axis Technologies Group has formed an alliance with Green Tech Energy Services.
“Axis is very pleased to add another important user of the energy-efficient Axis Dimming and Daylight Harvesting ballast system,” said Nick Bussanich, Axis’s East Coast area manager.
Bussanich noted that there are countless buildings that can benefit from daylight harvesting in their trade area, and said that they look forward to working together to make a significant impact in the adoption of Axis’ energy saving ballasts for fluorescent lighting.
Paul Haviland, VP of Green Tech Energy, expressed his company’s excitement to be able to introduce the Axis dimming ballasts to their customers and said that they are pleased by the simplicity, ease of installation, low cost, and energy efficiency of the Axis ballast line.
Haviland explained that the state of New Jersey offers generous rebates to end-users who install the Axis ballasts. Green Tech Energy is looking forward to helping their customers in their goals to reduce energy and concurrently, their greenhouse gas emissions.
Axis Technologies Group’s innovative new ballast is an electronic component that regulates voltage in fluorescent lighting that focuses on expanding daylight harvesting into mainstream fluorescent lighting applications.
The patented Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting Ballast transforms the ballast, a once standard lighting industry staple, into a dynamic energy saving system that can reduce lighting energy costs by up to 70%. Utilizing an individual photo sensor, the Axis DDH Ballast automatically adjusts the amount of electrical current flowing to the light fixture, and then dims or increases lighting in conjunction with the amount of available sunlight that may be harvested from available windows and sunlight.
The Axis DDH Ballast has the ability to avoid “over-lit” conditions that increase energy costs by keeping lighting “tuned” to the desired level in a designated area.
