Broadcore, the provider of enterprise hosted unified communications services, has announced that it is to showcase its cloud-based communications services at booth 418 of LegalTech West Coast 2010, the major West Coast legal technology event. Broadcore's (News - Alert) display will be the place where legal professionals can experience cutting-edge cloud-based communications services and learn more about benefits and features that all-inclusive solutions can provide.

Broadcore's concept at its founding was to provide comprehensive communications services to help organizations connect resources, including people and information. Broadcore now provides a multitude of communications service components organizations can use to communicate, such as video calling, call recording, call accounting, unified voicemail, telephony, presence, mobility, conferencing, broadband access and more. The company not only offers extensive recording, tracking and an optional capacity to record both outbound and inbound calls, but also offers the capability to time calls and automatically create reports for billing.

Dean Manzoori, executive vice president of marketing and strategy at Broadcore, said that companies of all types and sizes that use poorly integrated communications systems suffer expensive inefficiencies. Inadequate business processes, he pointed out, combined with disjointed communications systems can result in many wasted hours weekly-employees may need to rifle through voicemails and emails, need to wait for fellow employees responses to queries, and so on. Broadcore's Hosted Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions, said Manzoori, can transform these areas into high productivity areas. They can help integrate communications channels and streamline information flow management. Empowered by these solutions, employees can be able to shift between laptops, mobile or home phones, and all other such devices without disruption.

Jason Ciment J.D., a Broadcore client, said that efficient tracking and billing and the option to record calls are quite critical for law offices. Associates can end up spending a whopping 75 percent of their working hours talking to clients on the phone, so solutions that can help manage and reduce these hours would be very valuable indeed.

In related news, Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert) and Philippine Long Distance Co., a service provider, have joined forces to offer managed unified communication services to mid-sized and large enterprises, a first of its kind offering from a service provider in the Philippines.
