I’ve heard the food in Singapore is amazing. And some of the companies that serve it up are apparently working to make the experiences they deliver even better via the use of technology.
For example, restaurant chain Sushi Tei Pte Ltd. is now leveraging the Avaya (News - Alert) IP Office Platform to provide more unified and personalized services to customers, as well as employees and partners. This Avaya solution is delivered by way of IOSYS Solutions Pte Ltd.
The Sushi Tei deployment includes an interactive voice response solution that allows for better customer experiences and workforce optimization via its skills-based routing. The system allows employees to tap into it from any device. It doesn’t require that customer to add extra IT support. And it can be expanded to support other communications channels, such as email and Web chat, in addition to voice. And it can do that without additional hardware.
“Avaya has been a valuable partner in taking the time to understand our needs and providing comprehensive technological solutions to create a more effective and mobile workforce, that can in turn serve our customers better,” said Janice Lee, assistant director of finance and admin for Sushi Tei. “The platform has been able to evolve together with our aspirations – to be a leading restaurant for quality, value and exceptional service even as we expand our footprint across the region. With the ease of deployment and great support from Avaya, we look forward to implementing the platform across the region to enjoy greater efficiencies and cost-savings.”
In other recent news from Avaya, the company has introduced new business communications solutions for the small and mid-sized business set. The new offerings, delivered via the company’s Zang business, include Zang Office and Zang Spaces.
Zang Office is a customizable cloud-based phone service. The company says this offering provides enterprise-class communications at a small business price. That is, starting at $15.95 a month. Zang Spaces is a meetings-as-a-service offering that brings together sharing, tasks, video, and voice. And it’s integrated with popular calendar solutions.
Avaya also recently launched Avaya Equinox. This solution is based on a mobile-first philosophy and allows communications capabilities to be embedded into applications, business processes, and workflows.
