The rise of the cloud and the popularity of workforce optimization solutions have created a ‘perfect storm’ of confluence with the announcement that Verint Systems’ Workforce Optimization solutions have successfully completed interoperability testing with EMC’s (News - Alert) Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS) solution. According to both companies, this venture will translate into a secure, scalable architecture that complies with regulatory and governance requirements for customers, “furthering Verint’s (News - Alert) ability to provide an optimized solution for archiving recorded media and metadata.”

In a statement, EMC noted that its ECS solution provides a multi-purpose, enterprise-grade smart storage system for the traditional and next-gen workloads of the enterprise, and for cloud service providers. ECS is a complete, software-defined object storage platform that caters to today’s cloud-scale storage requirements.

“Completing interoperability with EMC’s Elastic Cloud Storage solution enables our customers to benefit from a reliable solution for archiving media and metadata,” said Oren Stern, SVP of product strategy at Verint Enterprise Intelligence Solutions. “EMC is one of the world’s most successful storage and data management companies, making it an ideal fit for our customers.”

Both companies acknowledged that with Verint’s expertise in helping organizations capture, analyze and act on customer and business intelligence, it became a natural next step to advance its WFO certification and interoperability with EMC ECS.

Interoperability testing for Verint’s WFO solution and EMC’s Elastic Cloud Storage offering was first completed in mid-2015.
