Insperity's New App Allows 401(k)Holders Anywhere, Anytime Access to Retirement Plans

There are a thousand things that businesses have to do every day in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and the last worries that they want to have are the administrative duties associated with their employee’s retirement plans. To make this process easier, Insperity Inc., a provider of human resources and business performance solutions for businesses, has launched a new retirement planning application for iOS users that allows employees to manage their own 401(k) online.

Through the retirement service center and the new (free) app, plan participants can review their 401(k) balances, recent contributions and current rates of return. It can also verify loan balances, check on contribution rates and remain in tune with the latest news and alerts. Retirement Plan sponsors will have full access to detailed plan activity, on-demand reports and copies of plan documents.

“We understand that 401(k) account holders want to be able to access their plans anywhere, anytime, and the app puts that access at their fingertips," noted Richard Rawson, Insperity president at Insperity.

The Insperity retirement app is an offshoot of two-years of hard work and is claimed to complement the recently enhanced and redesigned online Retirement Service Center, which has experienced a 30 percent increase in use by plan participants since the previous year.
