ClickSoftware Technologies is a provider of automated workforce management and optimization solutions company. The firm just announced that it expects revenues to be up by about nine percent at the end of June when the final numbers come in. The quarterly increase in revenues is another sign that the company is rapidly becoming one of the most trusted names in its field. The total revenue number is expected to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $22.5 million when all is said and done.
ClickSoftware is reporting these revenues on top of a recent contract it just signed, which could earn the company as much as an additional $15 million over the next five years if the company can meet certain benchmarks.
"As announced today, we signed a significant contract with one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world, which selected our optimization and mobility solutions to standardize and enhance the workflow of tens of thousands of field technicians," Dr. Moshe BenBassat, ClickSoftware's (News - Alert) chairman and CEO announced. "This major win, together with other substantial contracts we signed up to end of the second quarter, improve our visibility into our revenues for the remainder of the year as we continue with the expansion plan of our operations and also in the development of the ClickAppStore for business applications. This growth engine is being well received in the market, establishing ClickSoftware as a leader in business mobility.
ClickSoftware has become successful thanks to a software package that helps the company adopt a continuous planning and scheduling approach to customers. This allows for long and short term planning and better capacity and shift planning.
