VoIP systems today are connecting businesses and financial institutions all over the world by offering a feature-rich and cost-effective alternative to traditional fixed-line systems. Businesses that implement IP-based communications enjoy clear and reliable connectivity that bypasses geographical boundaries by avoiding the added fees associated with international calling. What’s more, these businesses can improve international relations using seamless video and audio conferencing, as well as unified email, calendaring and instant messaging features with customers, clients and business partners worldwide.
On the financial front, telecommunications and IT services provider Telefonica (News - Alert) and IPC, which works with trading communications solutions, announced this week that they have signed an agreement to jointly offer trading communications solutions. What this means is that the companies will create a new vertical services portfolio that covers the specific needs of financial institutions by offering advanced trading solutions based on open standards and IP technology. The new offering will be ready for the current requirements for SIP integration and Next Generation Networks connectivity.
Taking full advantage of IPC’s (News - Alert) IP technology, financial institutions will have access to voice trading solutions designed specifically to meet global regulatory challenges and help trading firms streamline their workflow.
In order to stay ahead of the market today, businesses must adapt to not only transition to VoIP systems but also ensure that those systems are fully compliant with international standards to compete on the global stage. "By addressing these customers IT and communications needs, we help them to focus on their business and strengthen their competitive position," said Juan Carlos Lopez Vives, president of Telefonica Global Solutions.
Another company with keen interest on providing international businesses with VoIP systems is ZYCOO. Continuing to expand the reach of its services overseas, the company asserts that its main objective is to continually improve the range of its products and services to customers worldwide, with the hope that customers will see increased benefits from VoIP telephony solutions. The company’s CEO, Wang Hongzhen, recently met with the company’s overseas R&D team in Kielce, Poland, which has been focusing on application and software development related to ZYCOO IP PBX (News - Alert) since February of this year.
As technology expands its global reach and the world grow seemingly smaller, VoIP systems will continue to be a major communication tool pushing businesses forward.
