Conversant is looking to spread out its business strategies by expanding into the ISP market. Offering a fully-loaded business Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) package, Conversant now offers its own broadband service called C-Net. Designed specifically to accommodate VoIP communications efficiently, C-Net offers businesses an all-in-one solution for low-cost communications.
“Having a single provider for both their cloud communications and broadband services reduces complexity for our customers, since they only have to deal with one organization for these essential services,” claims Conversant managing director Cameron Beattie, who wants to make the transition for new customers to VoIP calling as smooth as possible. Most major issues that have plagued VoIP phone systems in the past are cured by simply using broadband Internet, although many business owners dismiss VoIP entirely before checking if connection speed is at fault.
Fortunately, Conversant recognized the importance of a high-speed Internet connection when installing and using VoIP, and sought to correct that problem. By providing the Internet as well, Conversant gets a bigger slice of the pie while the customer's company can enjoy simpler and cheaper VoIP service. Because VoIP is sent through the Internet instead of traditional telephony lines, the customer can enjoy high-quality phone service at prices that land-based phone companies simply can't compete with.
Those who are already customers of Conversant will be happy to hear that the Internet service is available immediately, and is accessed through the hosted PABX services Conversant already provides. For under $70 per month, New Zealand customers can enjoy Chorus-supplied UFB connections, Ultrafast Fiber from Enable Networks and 30GB of data, which is a winning solution for most business needs. Those that require more data are also free to C-Net's more expansive plans, ensuring that there is a product for every sized company.
