For any modern business today, a VoIP system is a must. VoIP services allow for greater flexibility in communication demands, and open doors to all kinds of modern call features that legacy systems just can’t offer. For medium and large enterprises, this is especially impactful, as a VoIP system can help streamline heavy volumes of information and activity—and at an affordable price.
To that end, ZYCOO, a provider of VoIP system solutions, has just announced the official release of its latest CooVox-U60 IP Phone (News - Alert) System. Medium and large companies typically must try to maintain several PSTN lines and typically, because of their larger workforces, have many analog phones in use at a given time. ZYCOO’s new system was specifically designed with these businesses in mind. It most closely resembles the previous U60, but this most recent version includes the addition of support for up to 24 analog ports and lifeline PSTN pass-through. It can provide up to 200 extensions and can handle up to 80 concurrent calls, making it a great option for larger businesses that have many employees and must handle a multitude of calls.
In addition to the increased call capacity of the CooVox-U60, the system also offers a full suite of IP PBX (News - Alert) features, G.722 codec support for greatly enhanced voice quality, FXO to FXS failover support (on FXOS Module), and hardware echo cancellation for smooth communication without the interference of sound and service distortions. The added features make this new system ideal for the calling needs of larger businesses.

Companies can maintain whatever PSTN lines they require with the CooVox-U60, while still being able to take advantage of advanced IP PBX features as mentioned above. For ZYCOO users, these features include the company’s Automated Attendant and voicemail, which help streamline services within companies and when they interact with clients.
The new system also offers companies a way to better serve employees who work from home, with features like remote extensions and remote office connection, and offers enhanced business functions such as conference bridging, call recording, call detail records (CDR), automatic call distribution (ACD), unified messaging (voicemail to email), and more. All of these features combine to make one powerful system for businesses that will encourage better performance overall.
