Designed for SMBs and home offices, the compact Vodia mini PBX features a GHz ARM (News - Alert) CPU, Gigabit Ethernet and USB connectivity.
Officials explained that the Vodia mini IP-PBX aims to fill the current gap in the SMB and SoHo market for a reasonably priced, full featured business phone system. It also supports multiple deployment sizes through product variants.
The device further provides PSTN connectivity through SIP trunks or external PSTN gateways from third party vendors.
The Vodia mini aims to offers a very practical and affordable solution for smaller organizations that need a fully integrated phone system. It is not only compact in size but also provides the full suite of unified communications features.
For example, the device offers a full suite of advanced business phone system features, including auto receptionist, acd agent groups, conferencing, paging, voicemail, shared line emulation, web-based management, mobile phone integration, remote worker support and much more.
Seamless integration of almost any standard SIP based equipment or service, including IP Phones, IP Gateways and Internet based SIP trunks, is now possible with the help of the Vodia mini’s Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) compliance.
The device, which comes pre-installed with Vodia IP PBX software, is designed to provides seamless integration in a multitude of deployment scenarios. It also allows businesses to keep their existing IP telephony equipment and reduce their TCO.
Key system emulation, easy management, compact and reliable design, low power consumption, a standards-based SIP interface and network-ready are some of the defining features of the device.
