A London-based VoIP platform solutions developer has announced the addition of conferencing services to softphone solution.
According to officials with Voiceserve subsidiary, VoIPSwitch, the newest release of Vippie PC now supports conferencing with up to eight callers. In addition, the latest version also offers improved management of the conferencing sessions.
“User can manage multiple calls, both received and dialed, and then connect the selected ones into a conference,” VoIPSwitch announced on their company blog.
A video demonstrating the latest version of the softphone also shows how active calls can be shown in separate windows and how users can switch between calls or end a particular call using the separate windows.
In addition to this capability, users can also add and remove participants from a conference session.
