A global provider of end-to-end monitoring and management solutions for converged telecommunications and IT infrastructures, Anaheim, Calif.-based Tone Software (News - Alert) (News - Alert) announced recently the launch of its ReliaTel-Streamline Partner Plus Program, providing managed service providers, integrators, value added resellers and channel partners with strategic sales, marketing and engineering support.
The program is designed to help Tone’s ReliaTel-Streamline MSP partners rapidly build managed services revenue through advanced sales and marketing tools and resources which are now provided as a value-add benefit of membership in the Partner Plus program.
Tracey Whitney, director of marketing at Tone, told TMCnet, “Interesting aspects of our Partner Plus Program are that it’s not pre-wired for volume. Partner programs often utilize a tiered approach that rewards product sales volume, resulting in a top tier of your partner community that reaps the majority of program benefits. Tone has structured the ReliaTel-Streamline program differently to help stimulate business for Partners at every stage of their services development cycle. The program delivers rewards to a wide variety of service providers at the top tier, mid-tier and also those who are looking to get into a service type of offering as a new line of business.”
The program benefits, Whitney said, are pre-sales, co-marketing, and engineering services that help Tone’s business partners penetrate further into their market spaces. The co-marketing activities help Partners’ raise their visibility with potential clients, while pre-sales and engineering support help Partners fully exploit the ReliaTel-Streamline management capabilities to deliver the broader, deeper, more valuable management services clients need.
For example, she says, Partners whose services focus primarily on say, Avaya (News - Alert), can use ReliaTel-Streamline technology in conjunction with the Partner program benefits to expand their service offerings to manage TDM and IP telephony technology from Nortel, Cisco, Siemens (News - Alert), Ericsson, and many others. As a result, Partners can pursue and win a larger population of clients with a variety of communications environments at various stages of the convergence life cycle. “Breaking down these platform barriers within service offerings enables Partners to broaden their client base, giving them more opportunities to sell their services and increase profit margins and revenue streams,” Whitney said.
MSPs can use ReliaTel-Streamline technologies to provide comprehensive managed services including in-depth management of faults, performance, quality of service, traffic and network capacity for multi-platform, IP-enabled voice and data environments that support mobility, collaboration and unified communications.
For MSP partner members, via the ReliaTel-Streamline Partner Plus Program, visibility can be increased within their target markets through joint co-marketing activities, such as press announcements, case studies, and media promotion, as well as re-brandable sales materials that expedite go-to-market processes.
Partner Plus Program members can access resources through the Web-based ReliaTel-Streamline Partner Resource Portal. The Web-based resource portal is password protected and access is granted upon request to Partners as a value-added benefit of their ReliaTel-Streamline Partner status and associated membership in the Partner program.
“The portal contains valuable resources such as sales collaterals that Partners can rebrand, and technology presentations that can be incorporated into their own sales materials and then used in their own pre-sales efforts with their clients. Additional resources include re-brandable RFP and RFQ templates for client proposals or bids, as well as battle cards that provide Partners with the key discriminators and benefits their service offerings can deliver based on our technology,” Whitney said.
