The annual industry technology show known by the acronym IAUG – International Avaya Users Group – is always a showcase for the latest and greatest products, and this year was no exception.
Tone Software (News - Alert) was in Denver, Colorado, in full force last month as the company rolled out its latest offering, the new ReliaTel Visual360 Advanced Intelligence Portal for Unified Communication Services Management.
Referred to as the ReliaTel Visual360, the product was best summed up by Tone’s Paul Wiggins, the company’s Director of UC Strategies, describing it as a “revolutionary new way for operations groups to visualize real-time unified communications quality, performance, and service level analytics, all correlated with operational network performance and the underlying transport layer throughout the unified communications environment.”
Wiggins sat down for a talk with Telecom Reseller (News - Alert) Publisher Doug Green, discussing the new offering and what it will provide for users.
“What ReliaTel Visual360 really does,” Wiggins said, “is enable operations teams to visualize the relationships and dependencies between devices, applications and network segments involved in the critical application path of UC and collaboration sessions, and easily pinpoint the origins of quality degradation occurring when it comes to UC and collaboration applications.”
He also noted that the ultimate goal of the ReliaTel Visual360 is to proactively provide the needed visibility into the developing conditions that can impact the business. “Visual360 delivers the macro view that identifies problematic segments and areas of the environment where degradation is beginning to occur,” he said. “Then within that context, Visual360 provides the granular ‘micro view’ of specific analytics, call detail records, and quality metrics you need to isolate the exact origin of those issues – all within the same portal, with everything you need to resolve the problems, including secure remote access.”
The duo discussed the ReliaTel Visual360 in an in-depth podcast. To hear what they said and learn more about this latest offering from Tone Software, click HERE.
